The eggs we collected as part of the California Waterfowl Association’s (CWA) Egg Salvage and Duck Rescue in June were transported to the hatchery at Rancho Esquon. Here, eggs are incubated and hatched, and ducklings are reared and released into the wild. Around 2,000 ducks are being released this year – a fact that really reinforces what a great project this is, and how proud River Garden Farms is to have participated this year!
